Where are TuffAnts made?
TuffAnts steelies are made in a dedicated steel wheel manufacturer in China alongside other name brand Australian and North American steel wheels that most people in the 4WD community have heard of. They manufacture all types of wheels including SUV, trailer, and even OEM wheels for certain car makers. Only approved steel suppliers are used to ensure all standards and compliance requirements are met along with verification from Australian engineers.
The company has been in business for over 20 years and does not make alloys, just good quality steel wheels.
Are TuffAnts legal?
To ensure you get the very best, TuffAnts Steelies are made from high strength steel, machine pressed, machine welded, painted, then powder-coated to provide a wheel that is rated at 1000kg each.
How much do they weigh?
TuffAnt Steelies weigh approximately 18kg.
Who is TuffAnt?
TuffAnt is a brand new range of wheels and accessories designed specifically for Land Rover Discovery 3 and,4, and some models of the Discovery 5, some models of Range Rover and Range Rover Sports, as well as the New Defender,
With nearly 20 years of sourcing and manufacturing experience in China, TuffAnt has Australian designed and internationally engineered these new products where no others existed. Additionally, our director has designed and operated factories in China from the ground up, ensuring you won't be getting "overseas rubbish".
Will they fit my Vehicle?
Certain Range Rover models and New Defender models are also able to use these wheels. Check the Fitment page for the latest information that is updated regularly.
Can I put ET27 wheels on my D4?
Even though the ET27 was specifically designed for the D5, they do actually fit the D4, they just have a slightly wider track (17mm each side) due to the differing offset. The overall diameter of the wheel does not change, and the wheel still sits nicely within the wheel arch.
Can I pickup?
Whilst we don't have a bricks and mortar store, pickup in Menlo Park, Pretoria can be arranged. Contact us at info@tuffant.co.za. to arrange a suitable time.
What is my best delivery option?
We use The Courier Guy for local (Gauteng) and national deliveries. The delivery fees quoted include insurance cover. If you want to arrange alternative delivery, please send us an e-mail at info@tuffant.co.za
Can I get the wheels delivered direct to my tyre fitter?
Yes! In fact, many TuffAnt customers prefer this option as it it removes the hassle of having to be at home for the courier company.
Do you provide International delivery?
TuffAnt is available in South Africa, Australia, the United States of America, the United Kingdom (mainland) and the European Union.
