WHICH TYRE DO I BUY?​

Recommending which tyre you buy is something that really is an impossible task.  What suits a family touring up the beach each weekend versus someone doing a retirement lap and tackling the outback is completely different,  Road noise, tyre clearance, price, LT rating, the list goes on, and the final choice is always a subjective one.

TYRE SIZE


What we can do is give some known feedback about suitable tyre size for the Discovery 4.  The following table is meant as a GUIDE ONLY and provides no guarantee for any size, brand or suitability.  This information is gained from personal experiences, feedback and information provided in online discussions.  Remember, the overall actual size will even vary between different brands, so it's important to get the latest information direct from the tyre supplier or outlet in your area.  Manufacturers generally supply very detailed tyre information about sizes, as well as loadings, etc and it's important to understand all of those items when making any tyre choice.

TYRE FITMENT GUIDE

There is no impact on your factory warranty when using your 18” TuffAnt wheels in accordance with the correct offset for your vehicle,

It's important your tyre fitting complies with the fitment guide provide here.  Click on the PDF to download a copy and provide to your tyre fitter. 

Your 18” TuffAnt wheels are a close clearance design and as such you need to follow the direction below to ensure:

  • the wheels are correctly balanced

  • the wheel weights don’t interfere with the brake caliper

  • that the weights stay on through regular and proper use

WILL THEY FIT MY MODEL?

The following table is a guide to which model Discovery, New Defender, Range Rover, and Range Rover Sports the TuffAnt Steelie will fit.

Note: If you have BREMBO Brakes on any model they will not fit without Modification.  If you are not sure, please call to discuss.
